Nothing major shot on the ferry to IKEA with my charming boss. BUT! I did learn two things:

1.my soft telephoto lens is fired. because i’m not going to fire myself.

2. for super-sexy contrast in B&W shots your layers palette should look like this:

layer copy 2(set to overlay)

layer copy (set to soft light)

background layer

Fire Island + Kyven + Holga n’ Diana. I am still not conquering these diana lenses…this time i tried out the soft telephoto…well, the roll didn’t make it on here. I have a long way to go with that camera. But my Holga came through for me, as always.

Dreamy

Double-exposures on cross-processed slide film. It’s funny because when you put these two pictures together you can see the overlapping third shot that was captured when the film was manually cranked halfway between frames one and two. I like the effect!

Shot with a Holga.

Janet + Holga = <3!

my first time trying out 120mm color film, shot on a Holga and cross-processed. I just shot the city streets and a lamp in my kitchen, but now that I’m getting into the groove I will be doing lots more experimenting. How amazingly juicy is the color of the sky on  cross-processing? As i’m uploading these i’m like “meh, these looked cooler on the printouts”. and they do. muy sexy! I just shot a roll with red filters and am doing a roll of black and white tomorrow.
